Art Supplies, Equipment, & Goods
We have listed some items below that we can use — and really appreciate — and some stuff we are unable to accept. If you are thinking about making a donation, please check the list below or call to see if it’s something we can use.
What We Take
For our art workshops at schools:
* nontoxic paints (watercolor, oil, acrylic, tempera) and inks
* drawing & sketching pencils
* charcoal pencils
* soft pastels
* graphite sticks
* watercolor pencils
* colored pencils
* markers
* brushes (that are still soft)
* canvas
* frames that are sturdy and in good shape
* heavyweight paper
* smooth Bristol
* vellum Bristol
* canvas paper
* textured paper
* watercolor paper
* illustration board
* acrylic paper
* matte board
* string, yarn, and large fabric scraps
* adhesive vinyl sheets
For our "Artist Outreach" program:
* heavyweight paper
* lamination equipment + sheets
* new ink cartridges (please ask)
* plastic binders
* Rewritable CDs
* CD cases/envelopes
What We Don’t Take
* house paint of any type
* toxic materials of any kind, including paints
* glazes containing lead
* fabric trim scraps
* magazines
* greeting cards
