About
World Artist Network (WAN) is a non-profit organization devoted to the promotion of art and artists locally and globally. The World Artist Network respects you as an individual and will make every effort to protect your privacy. Our privacy policy applies to our web site: theworldartistnetwork.com, an online service of the World Artist Network that lets members share ideas and art with other artists and art afficionates all over the world. Members can create profiles, post blogs, request opinions on their piece at the WAN Forum, create portfolios of their work, and network with the art community. Your information can be changed as needed by logging-in to your account and accessing the "Update Profile" link on your profile page.
Your Information
You are asked to provide certain information, such as your name and contact information when you start an account with theworldartistnetwork.org. Some information is required for registration, while other information is optional and it is up to you whether you want to share this information or not. You are able to update this information at any time.
We will not share your account information with any third parties. The World Artist Network will not access or disclose your account information unless we have your permission or unless we are required by law.
Artworks
By accepting this "Terms and Conditions" you certify that all the artworks you upload to your gallery are your sole property, or that you have the rights to display them.
You also agree that you give the World Artist Network permission to use your images to promote your work online in networks such as Facebook and Twitter.
All images are considered property of the artist and will not be used for any other purpose without specific consent.
Security
Your information is stored in a secure database and is password protected. No other users will have access to your private account information. However, staff may need to access your information in order to help you if you have a problem. We recommend that you do not share your password with anyone. The World Artist Network will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or email.
Public Information
Remember that when you post public information on our site, that information can be accessed by the public. As a result, people could possibly send you unwanted communications.
Updates
We may update our privacy policy in the future. We will notify you of any major changes by sending a notice to your email address or by posting a notice on the website. These changes will go into effect once posted.
