Artsbowl – a creative courses hub - has teamed up with a The World Artist Network to reach an even wider audience of creative individuals and organisations across the globe. Artsbowl is an online creative courses hub for finding, promoting and sharing information about art classes, workshops and courses. It is a platform for discussing experiences of participating in arts courses as well as an online creative learning community.
Artsbowl was founded by Daniel Lingham, a sculptor with an entrepreneurial flair. Daniel explains how the idea came about after many hours spent promoting his own stone sculpting workshops. “I realised there was a need for an online platform where small independent course providers and the more established arts organisations could promote their creative courses to far greater effect than simply having their own individual website – and decided to do something about it”.
Creative courses on Artsbowl come in a variety of forms and Artsbowl’s ethos is to embrace creative learning in all of these disciplines, including painting lessons, sculpture classes, creative writing workshops, photography, dance, design and much more. The site aims to provide artists at all levels of their career with opportunities for learning and aspires to attract a large community of creative individuals and organisations. For artists who teach their skill to others, this is filling a much needed gap.
